In a significant step towards unified governance, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development (MOPED) hosted a comprehensive inter-ministerial meeting with planning directors from all state MDAs. The focus was to harmonize capital project monitoring benchmarks for the 2026–2027 fiscal cycle.
The meeting underscored the necessity of collaborative planning to eliminate redundancies and optimize resource allocation. Participants discussed the integration of the new digital M&E dashboards, ensuring all capital projects are tracked in real-time with verified geo-spatial data.
This harmonization is expected to significantly improve project delivery timelines and ensure that all state investments directly contribute to the Borno 25-Year Development Framework.
